Of course you're all eagerly awaiting the next instalment of the Star Wars franchise and thus far, everything's been kept pretty hush hush... which is incredibly frustrating for fans of the movies (although you can keep yourself going by getting plenty of games of X Wing and Armada in until its release date on December 15th next year).
However, there are a few key facts that have been kicking around that should tide you over until the film comes out. According to Business Insider, director Rian Johnson (behind the likes of Looper and Brick) spent six whole weeks at the Skywalker Ranch trying to figure out the Episode VIII storyline. The next film will start exactly where the last left off, with Rey handing Luke Skywalker his lightsaber.
And if you were hoping that you'd find out more about the Star Wars legacy as a whole, then you're going to be disappointed. The latest instalment will put more of a focus on the new core characters, although you can still expect to see familiar faces like R2-D2, Chewy, Luke, Leia and, yes, even Han Solo himself!
There will be new cast members joining the series, including Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro, although not much information is forthcoming yet about the parts they're going to play.
