Who didn't fall in love with the little droid from the most recent Star Wars film, BB-8? He may never quite hold the same place in our hearts as everyone's favourite droid, R2-D2, but BB-8 is certainly a far cry from the likes of Jar Jar Binks, right?
We've just come across this news article in the Independent revealing that you can now get your own BB-8 droid, controlled by an app of course, that comes with its very own Force band so you can really release your inner Jedi and make it move without even touching it.
Just stick it on your wrist and you can control your BB-8 with a simple wave of your hand, using the band's own app that also allows you to explore your local surroundings to collect digital cards that contain information on the Star Wars world and its characters known as Holocrons... similar to the Pokemon Go app.
The Special Edition Battle-Worn BB-8 Force Band also has different game modes, combat training for weapons like lightsabers and is compatible with other Sphero robots
as well as the original BB-8 droid. Naturally, the Force band and the BB-8 droid will set you back a pretty penny - to the tune of $199.99 in fact - but if you're a true-blue
Star Wars fan, then it's probably a must for you.
